 What to write about? Does anyone have a problem figuring out what to write about? This is the first 15 prompts on my list. I will be writing more posts with more prompts to go along with this set. I hope this gave you some ideas or that you can use one of these prompts, if not watch my blog for the rest of my November prompts to be posted.

What are you grateful for?

 I figured since it's November I would write a list of the things that I am grateful for in 2020. I understand that for some people it may be hard to think of things that you are grateful for this year since this is the year of Covid, but try to look past that whole ordeal and maybe you can think of a few things.

My List:

1. I am grateful for my husband and kids

2. I am grateful that my husband still has a job

3. I am grateful that my kids still have a shot at an education

4. I am grateful for the meals we have every night

5. I am grateful for the hot baths we can take at night

6. I am grateful that I get to spend a little extra time with my kids

7. I am grateful for the rest of my family and friends

8. I am grateful for the smiles my kids give me 

9. I am grateful for the " I love you momma's" I get

10. I am grateful for the kiss I get every morning before my husband heads to work

So, I just made a short list today. I encourage you to do the same. I understand that 2020 hasn't been the greatest year but as I said before try to look past that. Think of all the small things that you can be thankful  for and make a short list of your own.

Story Time

                                               The Brothers


    Once upon a time in a far away place their were two brothers who couldn't stand each other. Once the two brothers were old enough they decided to go their separate ways and live different types of lifes. The oldest brother wanted nothing but to build his home, find a wife to grow old with and have a house full of children. The oldest brother finally finished his house and several months after found a beautiful wife. He loved his life and his wife so much, he was beyond overjoyed.
   Meanwhile...... The youngest brother was no where near settling down. He was getting into all kinds of mischief at his young age. He had always had good luck in everything he did but one rainy night his luck ran out.
A few days after the older brother was chopping firewood when a post rider came up the drive and handed him a letter. the letter was addressed to him but he didn't recognize the handwriting so he opened the letter and was shocked to see what was written there. His little brother had gone missing and hadn't been seen for two weeks by anyone.  
   He gathered his things, spoke to his wife and headed out to help find his brother. He searched for a week with no clue as to where his little brother was and then one night as he walked down the street he heard two drunks talking, and just happened to hear them describing a young man that sounded a lot like his brother so he followed them. When he got to what looked like an old abandoned cabin he looked through the windows and quickly scanned the house his brother. At the back window of the house he gazed in and didn't like what he saw, there was blood everywhere and in the corner he saw his brother bloodied and broken. After one final look at his brother he ran back to town to find some help and luckily he found some officers. He explained the situation to officers and lead them back to the house where his brother was being held. The officers hurriedly made a plan and retrieved his brother as they raided the house for the criminals that had held him captive. The younger brother was then carried back into town to be seen by the best physician they could find. In the wee hours of the night the older  brother had fallen asleep at his brothers bedside, when he woke he rubbed his eyes and then noticed his brother looking at him through dazed eyes. The brothers stared at each other for a few minutes and then the younger brother broke the silence with only one word " home." So as soon as the younger brother was healed and able to travel that's exactly what they did, they went home. The younger brother finally decided to settle down and build a home right next to his brother and they all lived happily ever after.
